Marathoning

Over more than a decade, I competed in road races ranging from 5Ks to full marathons, with a strong focus on endurance events throughout New England and beyond. In total, I completed 25 officially recorded races, covering more than 447 miles in competition.

My peak racing years were between 2010 and 2015, highlighted by consistent marathon and half-marathon performances. Personal bests include a 3:00:12 marathon, a 1:30:34 half marathon, a 39:13 10K, and an 18:09 5K, placing me within the top 9% of athletes tracked during that period.

I raced a wide variety of events—from small local Vermont road races to major marathons—valuing both competition and the discipline required for long-distance training. While I no longer compete, running played a significant role in shaping my approach to endurance, focus, and long-term commitment.
